What should I wear?

If you are having a session with you and your family with your dog, wear neutral colors like those that occur naturally outdoors. Green, brown, burgundy, grey, and dark blue  all work great. Bright or neon colors and bold patterns won't look as good in photos. Avoid bright whites, because I may ask you to sit down on the ground, and you will probably get dirty. Formal clothing can look out of place in photos with dogs, so it may be better to choose more casual clothing. Your outfit should fit well and be comfortable, so jeans are fine. Another consideration most people don't think about in choosing clothing is how well it attracts dog hair. It's better to pick something that hair brushes off of easily. If you wear shorts, a dress, or a skirt make sure it is long enough to cover you properly when you are seated. 

Also, wear comfortable shoes with low heels because we will be doing a good bit of walking, and a lot of the venues have fairly steep hills and have some uneven ground. 

If you wear makeup, a more natural look is best.
